This past Valentine’s, Lerato was initially coy as to how she was celebrated as she and her husband had travelled to the US during the holiday. Initially, it was believed that she had a lowkey celebration. However, she then took to her Instagram stories to reveal just how spoiled she was by Ndlala.
It all started when Lerato and hubby Thami Ndlala ditched the USA and travelled to Dubai to avoid loadshedding. Upon their arrival, Lerato teased her Valentine’s Day surprise by sharing an Instagram story. The story showed a trail of roses and she then tagged US R&B legend, Kenny Latimore, thanking him for her special Valentine’s Day.
However, as the star prepares to upload her second YouTube vlog of the year, she has finally teased more of what happened during Valentine’s Day. While she did not share the actual performance by the legend, she did share how she and hubby were all but happy following his intimate-for-two performance.
The previous year, Thami had also pulled out all the stops to celebrate the special holiday as he bought an entire boutique hotel and spa for his wife. A gift that was subsequently trolled. So much so that Lerato seemed to stop promoting her business venture. But it seems that this is not the case anymore.

After the hype over the grand gift that Lerato received for Valentine’s Day 2022, there was drama. This was sparked by allegations that she and her husband were not the actual owners of the hotel.
The hotel has a penthouse booking fee of R100 000 a night. Announcing the good news, Lerato said, “Welcome to my hotel and restaurant. Follow us! We are hiring and you are all welcome. So if you are looking for a job in a fancy hotel, Lerato has your back."
But according to sources who approached City Press, Lerato allegedly does not own the hotel. Instead, the sources claim that it is owned by her husband and two other business partners who opt to remain lowkey. Lerato is allegedly only the face of the hotel, nothing more.
