TV actress Lesego Marakalla's fans will be delighted to know that she is back with a bang, after taking a hiatus from the acting scene to focus on her studies full-time.

The actress burst into the spotlight after she landed the role of role Rachel Kunutu, on SABC1's award winning soapie Skeem Saam a couple of years ago. She became a household name with a legion of fans and viewers were constantly blown away by her amazing acting skills. Her antics on the show often trended on social media, making her a fan favourite. But, After playing Rachel for almost a decade she abruptly left the show.
She announced her departure on social media ,and according to reports she took a break to focus on her studies full-time. Fans have been wondering about her whereabouts since she left the show.
ZAlebs recently covered an article about what she had been up to since taking a break from the limelight. Her private nature did not make it easy to discover much, except that she was helping rape survivors at a health organization named On Point Health Care, but she has clearly been working towards her comeback.
The actress made her debut on Generations The Legacy last night. Lesego plays the character Winston's partner in crime. During the teaser, she lambasted Siphesihle Cele for not being womanly enough for Winston. We are not sure how long her character will last for, but fans are excited to see her back on the small screens.

The actor was apparently given an ultimatum by the showrunners to either stay on the show, or choose Queen Sono, which was confirmed for season two at the time. After the show got canned, he pleaded with the producers to bring him back and said he was not living.
But, it was not so long ago when Vuyo took to his Instagram account to confirm his departure, "In case you were wondering. I left #generationsthelegacy a while ago, what you have been watching was prerecorded something like 2 months ago, my ship sails a perilous dark sea by choice now, do not look back," he laughed.
Another Generations: The Legacy who recently exited the show is Brownie. The actress played the character of MIA and she took to her Instagram account to bid farewell to the show.
"The first Episode Aired On 25th of May 2020. Last Episode 16th March 2022. Thank you for Two Wonderful Seasons On Generations The Legacy," she wrote on Instagram.
From playing a background actor, she became a memorable character on the show. "Mia went from Being an Extra, To A Featured Extra, A Guest Artist, and Finally the 2nd Lead in a Soapie, This all for my First Acting Role on Television. I'm beyond Proud of Myself . Thank you Very Much, To everybody who stuck with this journey, I am so proud of Myself. Onwards and Upwards " she added.
