With rapper Meek Mill coming to South Africa on 17 June he mistakenly referred to Cape Town as a place not in South Africa when he was replying to a Twitter user.

He was asked if he was only going to perform in SA only and he said yes and will also go to Cape Town. By then, everyone was on his case.

People were quick to point out that Cape Town is a city in South Africa.

@GuySazi said the guy who kicked actor Arnold Schwarzenegger last month when he was in the country to do the same to the rapper.

Another user Alipa_L had this to say.

@Mistytaka gave a different opinion.

The "Going Bad" rapper will be coming with hitmaker Post Malone as part of Castle Lite's Unlock campaign for 2019.

This year Castle Lite promised to bring a two-day hip-hop experience to be held at The Dome, Northgate, Johannesburg, on 17 and 18 June.

South Africa's heavyweights Nasty C, AKA, & Ricky Rick are some of the stars who will also be performing.
