Not only did Rihanna release her first solo single in 6 years but to complete the track, the music video for lift me up has also dropped. Within 24 hours, the music video already has 11 million views The song was co-written with Tems and is the lead single for the sequel to the Marvel blockbuster, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Only Rihanna knowns how to make heads turn. The single came as a surprise to many with her cryptic tweet earlier in the week. She shared the song's title, date of release and a short clip of her vocals. Naturally, this broke the Internet has fans have been waiting since 2016 for new music from Rihanna with her last album, Anti being released in the same year.
