As October approaches, the anticipation is building for what is set to be an explosive return for the internationally acclaimed South African-based music and lifestyle festival Rocking the Daisies, since 2019. This year, Rocking the daisies will be held in the two major cities in South Africa, Cape Town (7-8 October 2022) and Johannesburg (9 October 2022).
Steyn Entertainment, the festival’s custodian, previously announced that this year’s events – happening between 7-9 October – will feature over 70 musical acts playing across four carefully curated stages, in both Cape Town and Johannesburg and fans went berserk on Twitter sharing their excitement for this festival’s return and flooding the daisies website days before the tickets went live for sale.

Shannon Valstar, Steyn Entertainment General Manager explains, “A collaboration like this is significant, especially now, because of the intersection that South Africa finds itself with respect to the global market. As Rocking the Daisies, we’ve always taken pride in being a place to celebrate our diversely dynamic musical arsenal, but also be a platform through which collaboration can organically occur. We are particularly pleased to be doing it with a brand as esteemed as Heineken because of the culture they bring to everything they do. This is a big one for us,” Valstar adds.
