When season 2 of the showdebuts, Mo played by Ayanda Makayi receives a phone mail telling him that his father is sick and is close to knocking on heaven’s door. Thulisile Phongolo returns as Lilitha. Lilitha is pregnant and has settled into her marriage and her career. Her life looks shiny and attractive from the outside, leading the online pack of YouTubers and Vloggers with her company which has grown from Flawless Love into Flawless Lifestyle Channel. Her husband Mthokozisi has remained committed to what he promised Lilitha, but the strain of travelling to KZN all the time is taking a toll on him. He is frustrated and stressed and often sobs to his mother because Lilitha is busy putting bread on the table.
We are introduced to the new couple Qhama and Langa, played by Zimkhitha Kumbaca and Solomon Sebothoma. Qhama starts off as an extremist, preaching one thing with great conviction until she’s swept off her feet by Langa. When this happens, she tries to keep the relationship under wraps not to damage her fast-growing brand. Thrown into the mix is Qhama’s self-destructive sister Anathi, who is a soul yearning for love, and acceptance but is lost in terms of where to acquire that.
This season, Mthokozisi will be played by the talented Sdumo Mtshali, who takes over from Siphesihle Vazi. Viewers will get to see the return of Tina Jaxa as Noma, Mike Mvelase as Lawrence, and Craig Urbani as Ezra. Veteran actor Don Mlangeni joins the cast of Makoti as Zandisile.
