In just a few episodes, the character of Ngoveni on Gomora Mzansi has become one of the reasons fans now tune into Mzansi Magic's popular telenovela, Gomora.
Played by KB Ngakane, Ngoveni has been conniving his way to the position of Principal of Gomora's high school and has forced Zolisa Xaluva's Melusi Dlamini out of his position as headmaster.

Gomora fans have a love and hate relationship with Mr Ngoveni. A lot of the viewers are annoyed by his guts, some even find him disgusting. However, they love his acting – they find him hilarious and they love his energy.
He is currently one of the best-supporting actors on the show. We certainly hope that we will be seeing more of him, even though it seems unlikely after Mam Sonto ordered for his disappearance in last night's episode.
The casting of Gomora has received a lot of praise from both viewers and critics.
