Sharing the official trailer for The Woman King, Thuso had no words and said the trailer would speak for itself.

Thuso has been training really hard to perfect her moves for the movie and even shared a compilation video of the many trials and errors she faced. The movie required a lot from her including some physical strength and so she had to practice very hard for that.

"Really been enjoying playing with the Bo-staff. I even went so far as to buying this retractable metal one that I’m nowhere near being able to use. But today I felt like I’ve made a little bit of progress over the last few months.

"My lines aren’t as straight as I’d like them to be but they’re straighter than what they used to be. I’m celebrating this small step in the right direction. So here’s a random compilation of some staff practice sessions ranging from March to June this year," she captioned her video.

In a recent interview with M&G Friday, Thuso spoke about how it was like filming in South Africa.

"We shot from October 2021 to March 2022, and being able to spend Christmas with my family was amazing. Because the truth is, as South Africa we’ve got beautiful locations, we’ve got the resources in terms of storytelling. It’s just maybe the opportunities are here [LA].

"We’re getting more opportunities now (industry-wise), but then a lot of politics goes into it. But we are more than capable of producing great stories, right? So, to be able to come with a Hollywood story and shoot it locally was an amazing experience for me," she said

Mzansi has been singing her praises:
