Zandile and her husband Mhlo Gumede are going to be parents to Zenala, but she has not revealed whether it is a baby boy or baby girl. At the time she made the announcement she was already 8 months into her pregnancy. Sis is ready to pop!
“A journey that is exciting and very scary at the same time but worth it, I wanna thank God for lesibusiso esisendleleni … I’m 8 months in today and I can’t believe it’s almost time. We can’t wait to meet you Zenala ka mama,” she wrote in a now deleted post, showing off her baby bump.
She then posted another picture of her and her growing belly with a message thanking the Almighty.
Today she posted a picture of her nursery and judging by the subtle colours, we can't help but speculate that she will be welcoming a baby boy. But the white does not totally give it away as it is a unisex colour.
Shortly after her pregnancy announcement, Zandie announced that she would be taking a small break from performing.
"This is me signing off," she started her caption which accompanied a video. "I won't be doing any performances from this weekend till the beginning of November 2021(Doctors orders)...I would like to thank every promoters/event organizer, couples that have booked me for their weddings not to forget my people who buy my music, I say lets repeat that at midnight. I thank you for your love for all these years and continue to do that to many others."
"I will be back on stage in the beginning of November but I don't leave you alone I leave with my EP titled ZENALA, which will be out on all digital platforms from midnight today and out on all your favorite radio and TV stations from tomorrow...."
It seems as though the Khumalo - Gumede household is full of laughter as Zandie's husband, Mho Gumede pulled a very daunting prank on her. He went into their helper's WhatsApp and updated a status saying Zandie is a monster.

The WhatsApp message reads: “My male boss is the best shame but the female boss is such a monster."
The now-deleted post, Zandie wrote: "So my husband takes our helper's phone and posts this on her WhatsApp status before he leaves.
