The drama series stars Sibonile Ngubanea, Deli Malinga, Sthandiwe Kgoroge as MaNzimande, Nay Maps, Linda Sokhulu, Hope Mbhele, and Kwezi Ndlovu.

Viewers were left heartbroken when the first season ended. According to Phil Mphela, the show has now surpassed one of television's longest running shows on DSTV The Queen as the second most watched show on DSTV. The new series peaked at 967k in November and overtook The Queen which had 937k.

In December the Queen reclaimed its second position with 973k viewers.

Recently, the Queen has lost many talents. Actor SK Khoza who plays Shaka Khoza was recently given the boot following assault allegations lodged by his ex-fiancée Ayanda Hlongwane. Sunday World reported that the actor was arrested after Mandy after he allegedly physically abused her.

This follows an incident that allegedly took place at Mandy's Fourways home where SK allegedly beat her up. The actor made an appearance at the Randburg magistrate court on October 13, where he received a bail of R2 000.

Ferguson Films,
the company that produces the Mzansi Magic soapie, wished him all the best in his future endeavors as he exited the show. It also paid tribute to him for his dedication to his craft and expressed its confidence that he will continue to excel in his craft.

"We would like to wish Sthembiso Sk Khoza all the best for the future as he exits #TheQueenMzansi. You have been a hardworking individual from the day you walked onto our set. We have no doubt that you will carry on winning and working harder!. Until next time

Actress Cindy Mahlangu, who played the role of Siyanda has also left the show with immediate effect and it is still unclear why she decided to dump the show.
