We know, we're on the same boat. On top of that, we wish we didn't have to change our diet at all. You know, eat whatever you want and never have to worry about your weight. Now that's the dream.

However, the truth is you have to work hard to reach the body of your dreams. And now that Summer is a few weeks away, we thought it would be nice to get some fitness quotes from some of your fave celebs.

Eat clean

How amazing is Unathi Nkanyi's body? We know. The TV and radio personality has been very consistent in her weight loss journey. When asked if she follows a specific diet, she told the Cape Times that she eats as clean as possible.

"I mean that I avoid dairy, wheat and sugar and focus on a lot of vegetables and protein. Water is amazing too for the process." She added that she also stopped eating bread. Unathi said she tries to train a minimum of three times a week and focuses on cardio.

Run

We've seen Kabelo Mabalane's body transforming right in front of our eyes. Well, if you're old enough you'll remember that the musician wasn't always as fit as he is now. Several Comrades marathons later, Kabelo is still going strong.

During an interview with City Press after the release of his book 'I Ran for my Life', Kabelo described running as an investment. "Some people invest their time in food or drinking, but I invest in running, in my body."

He advised beginners to try races. "Races are awesome because all these people are running with you and you all push each other along. When you train in groups, you realise your goals much faster because you push each other," Kabelo told the newspaper.

Weight training

According to Sbahle Mpisane, a lot of people make the mistake of only doing cardio and avoid lifting weights. "Always remember that you can only sculpt your body through weight training," she told Destiny Connect.
