It seems as though Cassper Nyovest's predictions are coming to life as he did say a few other rappers should jump ship to Amapiano like he did. Now, his nemesis AKA hinted at doing an Amapiano song and his fans are not feeling it.

Cassper Nyovest once received a lot of flack for doing Amapiano music and neglecting SA Hip Hop. Not only did he talk down on the game by exposing the gatekeeping and the drama, he took a mini hiatus from the genre and focused on making Amapiano joints.

AKA's friend Costa Titch even dissed Cassper Nyovest and this lead to them having a twar. Days later, Costa debuts his own Amapiano song and this gave Cassper the last laugh.

Now, AKA seems to have decided to jump ship and do an Amapiano song but fans are not very happy about this.

Cassper did warn Hip Hop artists to explore and embrace other genres otherwise they will sink. "The one thing I love about Amapinao is that there are no gatekeepers. Ha gona bosso (there is no boss). It's either your song is hot or it's not." he mentioned at the time.

He also mentioned how he tried to run away from the Amapiano hype but he just could not, "Guys , I love amapiano!!!! I keep trying to run but it's calling me. And the love there us amazing, so much respect. I am a person who loves the streets, I am tired of the drama in the hip hop genre," he wrote.

In their fight, Costa told Cassper to stay with Amapiano when Hip Hop in SA flourishes.

But Cassper laughed when he decided to do Amapiano. "This broer said he is saving SA Hip Hop Mos. I find him performing a new Piano Song in Cape Town here. Hahaha , hunger will kill you boys!!! Just shut up and make music!!! Skatlao phapa (do not be forward)!!! Hahaha!!!"

In a statement, Costa told Cassper off but said it is all love, "Nyovi I've let you to run with your narrative for long enough now without saying anything, I have no problem with you however, I don't appreciate how you have made this situation bigger than what it actually is. I have never said I am going to save SA Hip Hop. All I said is that SA Hip Hop is uniting. If you jumped ship, then stay there and let us fix what you broke," he said.

"What I meant by that is that You keep pushing this narrative of being on either side "I'll see Hip Hop in 3 years etc." "If you tell me I'm the greatest I'll jump on a Hip Hop song again with one of the new kids." and that's not right in my opinion.

"I feel you should have the right to do anything you wish and make both genres with a positive attitude without talking down on any of the genres. Also please let's not forget that SA Hip Hop built your success in the first place. You can do any genre and still push SA music as a whole forward as you have major influence."

Cassper then laid this little beef to rest and told Costa to stick to his lane as a laaitie (small boy) and do what small boys do - make music and have fun. In his first tweet he said, "You disrespected me blind Costa. You were talking like a big boy. It was unnecessary and you felt like you were on fire,  now you can't take the heat. Ska phapha for no reason cause o ntwana (you're a small boy.)"
