In a move that nobody expected, Anatii decided to remove his music from all music streaming platforms. His message also had a worrisome tone to it that he might be looking to call it quits soon.
"Removed my solo albums from STREAMING PLATFORMS. It’s been good. ndiyabulela [thank you," he said.

Reactions to this were mixed as fans wanted to know the root cause of all of this. Some are curious to know what exactly is going on in the background as he is not the first artist to do this.

Anatii has been keeping a very low profile and away from the spotlight for a very long time now and even his fans have been observant of that. The last time he made headlines was last year when a song he contributed to, won a Grammy.
The Grammy award winning song, Brown Skin Girl, is performed by Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, SAINt JHN, & Nigeria's very own, WizKiD. This gave WizKid his very first Grammy win. However, the song won for best msic video and Anatii was only part of the writing team so that did not make him a recipient of the award.
Here are some of the reactions to his decision:

I know for a fact, one of SA’s prominent acts are working on a music platform to challenge bo Spotify, so this could be one of those or simply because streaming has no money vs actual sales.

We saw how Riky's family caused a stir when they too opted to remove Riky's music from the streaming platforms.
"Following his sudden death, Riky Rick's family have decided to remove his music from streaming platforms, as close sources confirm.
His famous album, “Family Values” has been removed from all streaming platforms already, and apparently the family is still working on deleting his other remaining music online" wrote OverviewRadio in a Facebook post.
His family has also decided to delete his social media accounts since he is no longer with us. This is apparently his dying wish which his family is honouring. Apparently, Riky wished he could be removed from the face of the earth following his suicide.
