Seeing that it is not Mangaliso's first time embroiled in rape and sexual abuse allegations, his statement did not do what he intended for it to do. Mangaliso claimed his sister is overtaken by evil spirits and was in and out from psychotic and mental institutions.
According to Sunday World, his sister - whose name was kept private for legal reasons - accuses him of raping her for two years at his home. She had allegedly moved in with him after losing her child in a car accident. At the time the alleged rape incident took place, it is reported that his wife was not in the country.
After being released on bail at the Sandton Police Station, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwane, told the publication that Mangaliso will be going to court on August 4.

He revealed his sister's identity along with a picture of the two of them and penned a lengthy message to accompany it. He claimed that none of this is true.
"Friends and family, it is with deep sadness that I share this post. I'm sure many of you have seen the disturbing news about my sister Queen and her allegations. Please be aware that it is not true," he wrote.
He then claims his sister was admitted into a hospital for psychotic behaviour. He then said she went around accusing people of 'various shocking things.'
"My sister has not been well since the end of April this year. She was admitted to hospital for psychotic behavior but she refused psychiatric treatment and absconded from the facility. She has been on a rampage since then, accusing everyone, her family and friends, of various shocking things. It seems like she has been taken over by bad spirits. We are all dumbfounded by this."
He then said as a family, they are praying for her recovery. "All I can say for now is that the allegations are not true and we are deeply concerned as her family and friends. She seriously needs help and we continue to pray for her well-being. Queen is a good person who loves her family, and the real Queen would never put people she loves through what we are currently going through."
This would not be the first time Mangaliso gets accused of such a serious offense. During his days as a leading cast member of Lithapo, Mangaliso was accused by Lorraine Moropa, a cast member of touching himself inappropriately when he looked at her.
"This is a father, who also happens to speak highly of their daughter whom by the way, is practically my age and also in the industry. I wonder if he would appreciate his daughter coming home with half the stories I have to go home and tell my mother due to his actions," shared the actress in a lengthy post.
Celebrities all joined forces in circulating his picture on social media showing support to Lorraine.
