"Anele’s lies will put the country in danger one day.” This is one of the reactions that Radio personality Anele Mdoda received from the tweeps following her interview with American TV presenter Wendy Williams.
Twitter went into a frenzy two weeks ago accusing Anele of lying for telling Wendy that the 10th of April is her day in South Africa, Anele has found herself being called out again for allegedly lying.
Wendy who then took to her show and announced to her viewers that "Do you know what April 10th is? I just found out myself. April 10th is Wendy Williams Day in South Africa. I am not lying” was again told by Anele that the country will have a 5 hours stop for her .
Anele said: “On the 10th of April, I am so excited for this, on the Lifetime channel we gonna be watching Wendy's hot topics as well as right after that the Doccie. I know the entire country we like doing one big mass watching thing, we gonna push it everywhere right! Yes, and I’m excited about this because the doccie’s been out and we have the internet so we can catch on clips and things that are said here and there but the complete full 5 hours of Wendy is gonna happen on the 10th of April for us we planning one big country stop, It’s Wendy time.”
During their interview this yesterday on 94.7, Anele also spoke about Wendy’s way of telling the truth. She asked Wendy if she thinks that there is anyone who owes her an apology.
Anele: “People would like to think that Wendy is the one who owes people apologies because that’s Wendy right? Most likely on air she will offend you but she is telling you the truth, lets flip it around, do you think there is anyone that owes you an apology ”
Wendy: “In the documentary, there is a particular old radio boss that fired me and now he and I are friends. The answer to your question is no, I don’t think there is anyone that owes me an apology. I don’t mean to offend, I am just saying it the way I see it.”
This was another big interview Anele and the club had this week, On Wednesday they interviewed the legendary Noxolo Grootboom following her retirement from the SABC.
Wendy’s documentary titled Wendy ‘Williams: What a Mess’ will air on Lifetime DSTV channel 131 this month.
