Many celebrities have opened up about battling suicide especially after Riky Rick's passing. In his suicide note Riky wrote for his wife Bianca Naidoo and their children, he said he could not stop battling the voices in his head.

Dear Bianca,

This pain is too much. I don't want you to blame yourself for my life being unbearable. You gave me more love than I deserved. Live your life. Do not hide the light you have me every day.

I am sorry for being the one who gives up but the pain I feel is too much to deal with. The voices in my head have never gone away. I wish I was stronger, but I am not. Please forgive me. I love you.

To his son Maik: "Follow your passion my son. The world is better than you can ever imagen. I love You."

And lastly to his son Jordan: "Jordan, the best thing that ever happened in my life. You taught me so much about life. Thank you for being so good to me. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me. I love you."

Others who have openly spoken about battling this demon include Dumi Mkokstad who said he was on the verge of committing suicide. He ruffled feathers when he said, "Suicide isn't the solution, Christ is." But quickly corrected himself when he said, "I have been through depression I wrote tweets yesterday with the #RIKYRICK_I_UNDERSTAND because I have been there and I was on the verge of committing suicide myself. Therefore I can never judge anyone who ends up taking their lives because I know exactly what they’re facing," he tweeted.

"Maybe let’s start here Iv been through depression myself and would never Not understand anyone's reaction to it. People deal with situations differently and I will never judge anyone who may go through that."
