DJ Lamiez Holworthy would rather be constantly tired, than to ever go broke. With her line of work, she has to be constantly on the grind but she is now looking to take it very slow. A gap year would do for Lamiez but is that a good idea?

Lamiez' work ethic is one we all admire as she is constantly booked and busy, and still makes time for appearances etc. That's what fans admire about Lamiez but at some point, fatigue hits and working women need to take some time off.
Adulting, is what social media streets call it and Lamiez wants to take some time off from it. She calls this task 'hard' and wishes she could at least take a gap year just to recuperate.
Her fans are not surprised by this because just yesterday she had to operat like a zombie just to adult. She had a late night gig and still had to attend an 8AM appointment the next morning for a TV appearance.
This is the second time this year where Lamiez speaks of fatigue so maybe she should listen to her body. Just last month after the festive season, she said, "Iβm mentally and physically drained. I need at least two weeks to just recharge and rest."
She is also managed by her mother and she took some time to appreciate her, "Just wrapped up. Itβs 00:27 and I need you to understand how big of a blessing having my mother her with me is. She is the best. All that I am, all that Iβve built, I built with her. I owe her the world!!!"
In other Lamiez news, Lamiez often spreads love and positivity on the timeline and is always praised for that. A man reached out to her for help. He wants to propose to his girl who is a Lamiez fan.
He wants to do it in front of her but Lamiez took it a notch further and said she will bring flowers and will come bearing gifts.
"Hi Lamiez, my girlfriend is your biggest fan and itβs her birthday on Thursday, I want to propose her in front of you. We can do it anytime from Thursday to Sunday anywhere in Gauteng. Please @LamiezHolworthy."
Lamiez often gets bullied but she shut trolls down every time she gets. "Social media can be really dark and then I look at the other side, the side where complete strangers come together to build and not destroy, to change each otherβs lives for better. Where we laugh and celebrate each other. And then I know that life isnβt all that bad," she said.
Responding to trolls who called her a man, this is what she said, βI have been on LiveAMP for so long because I am different, because I am the change that the world so desperately needed, that SA desperately needed. Little girls need to see a woman who look like them, other women need to see women that are real, women with stretch marks, women with cellulite, women with big thighs and they needed to know that it was OK.
βPeople needed to know that being different is OK and that is also your power once you accept your flaws, no-one can use them against you,β she said.
