DJ Shimza is once again trending for all the wrong reasons. The DJ never seems to land on social media's good books, which makes us kind of want to revisit the Twitter's most hated celebrities list - because WOW! Graphic design Twitter, I’m looking at changing my logo, please send me design suggestions for me to check out 🙏🏾 Tomorrows headline

We cannot even remember the last time Shimza was celebrated on social media for being a talented DJ. He is undeniably one of the most talented and gifted DJs in the country, whose talents is shared with people around the world. But why is he always hated so much.
We are going to be taking a look at the many times he had trended over the past few months. Starting with the recent stunt where he asked graphic designers to pitch an idea for him as he looks into changing his logo.
Shimza called on all talented graphic designers to show him some work of theirs and he will pick the best one to work with. That's cool and all but Tweeps are worried if other people who spent their time, energy and possibly money designing the logos which were no picked, will be getting compensated.
“Shimza wants to exploit creatives”
Facts!!! And today he has a Deal with an International Brand. Which i gave him Blessings for him to work with them.
The DJ made it clear that he will not be paying the others, and made an analogy of Drip Footwear's shoe designer. "One of @dripfootwear head designers that designed the new Solemate literally kept sending @LekauSehoana shoe designs on twitter, he’s now employed and designed one of Drips biggest shoes. Imagine if he waited to be paid based on “Twitter standards.”
Lekau said this was true because he now has other international gigs lined up.

"I got my biggest break from doing things for free! I was asked to submit mixes and I did, I never complained about my time that was worth nothing at that time. But continue," he said. When you understand that there will be a young designer that needs the plug who you can discover through such asks then hire them. Go on, listen to your folks here who tweet from a place of privilege. I was not forcing anyone, same way I used to dj willingly when I started. https://t.co/ntTRYqkPwi
He took to video to encourage other creatives to sacrifice handing over their empty plates just so that their plates could get full. Your full plate might come from just putting your empty plate on the table. pic.twitter.com/K4mZlw1lQn
The last time he trended for the wrong reasons was when he revealed that he makes his house worker do some odd jobs. A few months ago he tweeted about wanting his helper to come back because he is out of clean socks. But the manner in which he said it made people think he makes her do "odd jobs" such as washing his underwear too. You are a grown man. pic.twitter.com/y92o4ZL5IT
When he got bashed for that, he said "That’s her job, I’m sure she’s not embarrassed by it."
Shimza also gets dragged for apparently having some government affiliations when his restaurant Hang Awt got picked to run a tourism attraction event. Sowetan Live reported a few months ago that the Public Service Commission (PSC) allegedly has launched an investigation to look into how Shimza got awarded the R150 000 tender.
