Dr Nandipha And Thabo Bester Back In SA

The fugitive couple return after being found in Tanzania.

The country has been gripped by the continually unravelling and fascinating series of events following the case and Love story between once lauded medical thought leader and practitioner Dr Nandipha Magudumana and her lover and notorious Facebook rapist Thabo Bester.

Dr Nandipha and Thabo Bester shook the country when it was first revealed that Thabo had escaped from maximum prison by faking his own death, and Dr Nandipha was his outside man ensuring that the body found was identified as Thabo Bester’s.

As his escape became public, the two went on the run. However, while they ran, their supportive conspirators that were left behind started to face the music. Whether it was the prison officials themselves, or the security company of the prison, or Magudumana’s family and associates that were involved like her father, and her friend and fellow doctor Dr. Pashy. 

However, it now seems that the infamous couple is set to face the music for all their crimes. 

Dr Nandipha and Thabo Bester back in SA

When Dr Nandipha and Thabo Bester’s crimes started to catch up with them, the couple had absconded and left the country as they were on the run. A fact which proved to be more favourable considering the justice and police system in the country. 

As such, in a matter of days, the couple was discovered and arrested in Tanzania. At the time, it was only the image of Thabo Bester adopting the dress code of the county which was circulated. But it was confirmed that even Dr Nandipha was also arrested. 

In light of the couple being extradited to South Africa, the first look of Dr. Nandipha since her arrest was leaked.

Moreover, as the couple arrived in South Africa after landing in Lanseria with heavily armed security to ensure that they do not escape this time, Dr Nandipha could be seen being moved from the plane to the private SAPS van.
At the moment, it is unclear just when the two are set to first appear in court. This is as security company G4S which is believed to have been involved in the escape of Thabo Bester is currently facing a parliamentary investigation as to the protocols that were ignored and bent during the escape of Thabo Bester.


Therefore, it might be a few weeks until the public gets the first look at Dr Nandipha and Thabo Bester have their first day in court for all their crimes.
However, it has been confirmed that Ministers Ronald Lamola and Bheki Cele are set to host a press conference at 08:30 today to give and update on the case.
