“Not for sale, I repeat, this body is not for sale, okay? Nor am I written for sale on my forehead. You know the selling of the body in this country is very high, especially in the entertainment business,” said Kelly.
She then says her body is not for sale as rich men in this country think they are entitled to women's bodies, “Rich men think they can buy whoever they want. Maybe they have the money to buy so and so, but this body you’re not going to buy.”
“Put some respect on women. Sies! In fact, I blame women for letting men think they can just walk in and buy. Me, you can’t buy me. I’m not for sale. I’m just telling you. It doesn’t matter how much money you’ve got. Not for sale, finish,” she concluded.
Kelly's views got backed by her followers who reiterate how sad this practice has become and some added that it occurs even outside the entertainment industry.
"Absolutely. It’s women who are to blame for these low standards. In every society, it is up to women to set the standard of how they will be treated," one user commented.
"Even outside the entrainment industry they think they will splash money around and get you to open your legs, sad," another said.
"Some men take us Queen's cheap and think we for sale. Yes they got money and whatever but what right do they have to try and kill our dignity like that. Most of them take advantage because of our backgrounds and offer an amount that will maybe help you out for that moment or a life time sadly some women fall for it," a woman added.
"You have said it mouthful Queen K, sad generation with loss of dreams. Young women are getting laid for a bottle of Henny & receiving R1000 in the name of having fun. Yet they losing themselves because they wanna Slay."
The country was once rocked with several incidences of human trafficking and many of our ZAlebs spoke out about this worrying pandemic. Lerato Kganyago was one of those celebs who were super vocal about this and advised women on how to be safe.
"South Africa is considered to be on the “Tier 2 Watchlist” for human trafficking. At least A MILLION kids are trafficked each year. Our government is not doing enough...Believe it or not South Africa has officially become a source country for Human Trafficking and it’s getting worse!" she said expressing concern.
"Every hour a child or woman goes missing! Some are lucky to escape, most never make it! HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS REAL! Thousands of women went missing during the lockdown, MOST have not been found yet," she wrote
Recently Kelly spoke about her relationship with Zandie Khumalo, her sister. Speaking to TrueLove, Kelly Khumalo revealed that Zandie does not exist anymore and that part of her life is gone
“I’ve moved on from that part of my life. It no longer exists and never will,” she said.
