Moreover, that he had fled imprisonment by allegedly faking his own death by burning the remains of the still unnamed convict found in his cell, however, what made the story more bizarre was the matter of his presumed accomplice.
This is as the accomplice is believed to be the leading medical expert and CEO of the medical practice Optimum Medical Solutions Dr. Nandipha Magudumana. This is as Dr. Nandi is believed to be married with two children, children she is said to have exposed to Bester who she claimed the body thereof claiming to be his customary wife.
While, many have sidelined Dr. Nandi, as calls to have the doctor muted and face the full might of the law, one person seemed to come to her defense.
Moshe defends Dr. Nandi prematurely
While the country was calling for Dr. Nandi to come out publicly and share her version of events in the “death” or alleged escape of Thabo Bester, Moshe Ndiki was catching flights to Dubai. As such, it seemed that Moshe, who clearly knows Dr. Nandi personally, was in defence of his friend.
This is as he questioned the validity of the information circulated by Ground Up surrounding the events which led to the public believing that Bester was no more. As such, he called into question whether the information that was circulated was true.
This is as Ground Up shared a detail article of said images when reporting that:
GroundUp has seen photographs of a man who closely resembles “Facebook rapist” Thabo Bester shopping in Woolworths in Sandton City nearly two months after his reported death in prison. The photograph shows him with long hair, wearing a tracksuit and sunglasses.
The photographs, taken on 30 June 2022, add to the mystery surrounding Bester’s reported death. On 3 May 2022, the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) announced Bester had died in a prison fire in Mangaung. But several elements suggest that he may have escaped from prison and that the body found after the fire may be that of another man.
In the pictures sent to GroundUp, the man is accompanied by a child who looks like the photos of the daughter of celebrity doctor Nandipha Magudumana on Magudumana’s Instagram page. A woman in a cream-coloured outfit stands with her back to the camera.
As more of his followers took to the timeline to assert that Ground Up was not being malicious, Moshe was even more defensive as he attempted to clap back at the comments from his followers. All the while standing firm that Dr. Nandi was innocent.
However, as images of Bester started to surface. Images which are believed to have been taken since he was presumed dead. Moreover, there are testimonies of his actions since his presumed passing.
Moshe has since taken to social media to accept defeat. It seems that he too has finally come to the conclusion that Dr. Nandi might not be as innocent as he initially believed she was.
