The Real Housewives Of Durban reality star Nonku Williams grew to popularity as one of the least favourite because of the Ayanda Ncwane storyline. On the very first episode, she revealed herself as Sfiso Ncwane's baby mama which then continued throughout the entire show, making that her storyline.

With Ayanda Ncwane ditching the show for her own personal reasons, fans of the reality show cannot help but wonder what will Nonku's relevance lean on.
Many people debated on social media what that meant for Nonku, but she told TshisaLive that she has her own story to tell and it has nothing to do with Ayanda.
She said that her story as a single mom of three will inspire other women as they constantly slide into her DMs.
With regards to Ayanda, Nonku maintained that she has a lot more to offer and that it does not revolve around Ayanda, “I saw people speaking of my obsession with Ayanda and I don't know where that is coming from. Bringing up Sifiso in the first season was only for my daughter's sake for me and her to get closure, which I did in a way but that was not my only content.”
Speaking to Daily Sun last year, Ayanda Ncwane revealed that she left RHOD because it was tarnishing Sfiso Ncwane's legacy. Not only that but she has built a very big brand for herself, and that just being associated with RHOD, reduces her to just being a housewife. "I have built my brand and my brand is so big and high for me to be just associated with the show," she told the publication.
“I recently saw a headline that only associated me with the Real Housewives of Durban, and I got annoyed because I have worked so hard building a brand of being a music executive. So for me to be associated with something so small whereas I have worked so hard did not sit well with me, and I decided that the show is not for me as I don’t want to be reduced to just being a housewife, while I have worked so hard for everything that I have,” she revealed.
Before the interview, an insider said, “She feels like the show doesn’t respect her hubby’s legacy, which is something she has been trying to preserve. She carries the show, they are going to have to find someone as strong and as interesting as her brand,” it added.
Also leaving the show for her own peace sake is Kgomotso Dungane who boasted about the love she received from people, "Spread LOVE Each love shown, each positive message sent, just know that I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
"I may not be able to respond to all, but I try because YOU MATTER! Sometimes, I also need a motivational quote, something to lift me up and a bit of love sprinkles. I am a normal human being like you. I just happened to be on your small screen but that doesn’t define who I am. So for the love that I’ve got, beautiful messages I’ve received about going to be missed on #rhodurban - know that I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart and if circumstances were different from S1, I would have given you another killer season."
Kgomotso then showed love to all her haters who made her life a mysery while on the show, "LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. THOSE THAT have shown me love across ALL MY POSTS and those that hated thank you for making me even more BAD ASS just with a sprinkle of grace! You have a special space in my heart *takes a bow*
