With huge hits such as Jersusalem by Master KG not being nominated for the popular awards, many have accused the award organisers of ignoring some artists over others, whilst others having accused artists of buying nominations.
Poet Ntsiki Mazwai has also added her voice to the call for SAMAs to fall. The personality tweeted that the SAMAs are controlled by a bunch of industry men "who themselves have no talent but usually sleep with the talent."

Ntsiki also said that she stopped taking the SAMAs seriously when DJs were winning best male artist. Could she be referring to Prince Kaybee or Black Coffee who have both won the award and are DJs?

The controversial personality isn't the one calling for the SAMAs to fall many tweeps agree with Ntsiki and have shared that numerous artists such as Riky Rick and Babes Wodumo have spoken out about the unfairness of awards.
