Ntsiki Mazwai and Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi are two of the most controversial and thought provoking, depending on who you ask, Twitter accounts in South Ah. The two have garnered a following over their polarising and sometimes contradictory stances and assertions on the blue app.
Initially, it seemed that the two were besties as they supported each other on their various stances, each referring to the other as a thought leader in their own right. But in October 2022, it seemed that the friendship came to an end as it was reported:

Sometime after Mazwai featured Nota on her podcast, her feelings towards him seemed to have changed. This is as Mazwai has not only distanced herself and her brand from its association with him. But she has also blocked Nota on social media.
Nota in a video has since suggested that Mazwai blocked him because she could not handle the truth. Comparing himself to Mazwai, Nota indicated that he is able to receive constructive criticism from social media while Mazwai would rather block naysayers on her timeline.
Mazwai on the other hand, when asked what happened to change the nature of her relationship with Nota, would not go into detail. But she did make it clear that she does not want to give him “airtime.” Moreover, she reiterated her stance that she believes that Nota has mental issues that he has not dealt with.

Following Nota’s latest podcast stop which was as the third guest on rapper turned podcaster L-Tido’s podcast. An episode which saw Nota address many of the topical headlines he has made this past year. Whether it was his relationship and divorce from Berita, his constant assault on Mihlali Ndamase, the numerous beefs he has had with ZAlebs, including his “beef” with Pearl Thusi.

It seems that comments were quick to suggest that Nota is similar to Ntsiki Mazwai, once again. This is as the more the public listens to Nota’s utterances, it becomes clear that besides “clout chasing,” there does seem to be an underlying mental health problem with Nota.
A fact which Ntsiki was only too quick to harp on following receiving a heads up about the continuous comparison. Mazwai, who initially propelled Nota as a thought leader in his own right, has joined commentators suggesting that Nota might need to seek psychiatric help or therapy. Moreover, she also joined the backlash given to podcasters who continue to use Nota for views despite his problematic stances on almost everything.

Nota, on the other hand, remains being Nota. This is as it seems he is still oblivious to why podcasters want him on their shows, and is just enjoying trending as MacG once accused him of constantly chasing.
