Priddy Ugly’s twitter account has been hacked into & taken over by this FAKE account. The hacker blocked me. The first image is a screen grab from someone else’s account who isn’t blocked. The hacker swapped accounts & keeps changing handles.

The person in question appeared to be sharing content in a language that most people didn’t quite understand, but the Modiselle sisters quickly tracked the hacker down and began to report him to the authorities:
GUYS THIS PERSON HACKED INTO @priddy_ugly's account.

All of this was futile in the end, unfortunately, because Priddy Ugly ended up having to create a brand new social media account anyways.

🚨NEW PRIDDY UGLY ACCOUNT ALERT🚨
— BonBon (@BontleModiselle) January 15, 2019
Out with the old, in with the new. Unfortunately Priddy’s old twitter account has been lost, but we adapt or die.
So follow @_priddyugly on his new twitter account.
Here’s to a new start 🔥🔥🚀🚀 pic.twitter.com/BDlhgyr31q
The rapper is not the first person to fall victim to hacking. In the last couple of years, we've seen so many stars sharing their frustrations about being hacked on different social media platforms like WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram.
In December 2018, Luthando "Lootlove" Shosha was hacked and she panicked after realising that she could possibly lose her Instagram account (with over 700K followers) forever. Fortunately for the TV and radio presenter, none of that happened as she was able to recover her profile.
In future, the best way to prevent hacking is to change your password at least every three to six months.
