Social media influencer Keabetswe, who became famous for her tweet ‘O Jewa Ke Eng’, which in direct translation means what is eating you, had social media abuzz yesterday, when she tweeted about her landing a new acting gig.
Keabetswe posted a snap of herself wearing school uniform and holding a slate, on the set of SABC 2's new Sesotho telenovelaLithapo.
The influencer said, she will be portraying the character of Lebo on the telenovela. She captioned her tweet: "Meet Lebo, on set shooting for Lithapo that plays on SABC 2 Mon-Wed, 21:30. You’ll meet her in the near future. She’s not as nice as she looks."
Keabetwe's O jewa Ke Eng tweet, has garnered more than 20 000 retweets from tweeps, who continues to share their daily struggles with hopes of getting help.
For unemployed South Africans, the tweet has become a way for them to shoot their shots on job opportunities and some have even secured the bag, by sharing their stories and qualifications on the thread.
