Khabonina Qubeka is one of South Africa's most loved media personalities. The star started her career as a dancer and choreographer and throughout the years, she has managed to solidify herself as a yogi and bonafide actress.

When Khabonina was demanding for R40 million for her placenta
Tv actress and fitness guru Khabonina came out guns blazing when she put the hospital where she gave birth to her daughter on blast. Apparently her placenta was allegedly disposed without her consent at the Life Bedford Gardens Hospital and she was not pleased about it.
The actress, who gave birth in 2018, had signed on the dotted line for the hospital to preserve her placenta, but the hospital failed to stick to the agreement.
Khabonina explained that she felt her rights were violated because she wanted to keep her placenta for cultural, educational, and business purposes. However, due to the hospital's negligence her aspirations have been violated.

Khabonina's daughter reacts to the Sister Betina song
Even today when that song is played, people still love it and they groove to it. The song has stood the test of time and has been dubbed Mzansi's national anthem. However, it seems someone was just not impressed by the hit. Khabonina was playing Sister Betina out loud and singing along to it, but her daughter was seemingly not impressed by the song and did not get the hype around it.

Khabonina makes a comeback on Dijo le Bophelo
Seeing that she's a fitness guru, Khabonina loves to stay fit and offer advice to others that want to follow the same healthy lifestyle. In 2020, the SABC announced that it was bringing back 'Dijo le Bophilo' back on screen with Khabonina as the host.
