Japanese-South African television host, actress, dancer and model, Lalla Hirayama, celebrates her 33rd birthday today.

Nicknamed as Ninja, Lalla Hirayama was born February 10, 1988 in Japan and is popular as one of five hosts of the live celebrity news show V Entertainment as their longest-serving host. She is also very popular as a judge on South Africa's Got Talent and host of her show LallaLand.

Anger over racist remarks due to COVID-19  

Because the Coronavirus originated in Wuhan, China, Asian people across the world have been subject to racist remarks. Born to a Japanese mother and a white South African father of Jewish descent, Lalla felt the heat of racism.
Television personality Lalla Hirayama made her plight public on Twitter about the prejudiced and racist remarks she has been at the receiving end of, since the virus hit South Africa.
