Mampho Brescia started her career as a child star and the media personality has been consistently working for more than 20 years.

A couple of years ago, the star bagged the role of Iris on Mzansi Magic's Isibaya and since then, she has become a household name. Everywhere she goes, she is highly recognizable.

On the latest episode of Downtime with Somizi, the actress spoke candidly about her lowest moments. Speaking to Somizi and Kgomotso Christopher, Mampho shared how her daughter's covid diagnosis was the worst time of her life, "When my daughter had covid, that was a very low moment for me, she is 8 and she was in the hospital for 7 days with my husband, I was home alone, that was a very low and horrible seven days of my life."

The star was not done talking about low moments she has had in her life, she then went on to speak about another low moment which many believe is a high moment for her, " I shot a film, I was terrible.. I was that actor who could not even stand upright," she explained jokingly.

After saying that she was terrible in the international film she shot, her friend Kgomotso Christoper assured her that she did just fine. Two months ago, Mampho shared the trailer of the movie and she looked pretty good in it.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Eraser Reborn drops March 31st on HBO Max. Catch me as Marshall Rhodes in this thrilling action film. Tag a friend you wanna watch this with and I might invite you to my private premiere.”

When the star is not showing off her acting chops, she sometimes shares videos of herself singing with her husband of 18 years and the people on the internet are obsessed. Every time she drops a new video, social media users engage with the content.

After Shona Ferguson passed away last year, Mampho and her hubby paid their respects in song. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, "It is a mammoth ask to task those who love to move on. I could not, nor persist or live without my Giant who is. A mother who is tired will still give, resist the pangs of loss so deep. To the families who live ravaged, broken by this grief of love lost, I am with you, together we weep," watch the video below:

Mampho and her husband have a very tight bond, on several occasions, we have heard her speak positively about the man she has been married to for 18 years.

On the same episode of Downtime with Somizi, Mampho had more beautiful things to say about her husband, "my husband is a hunk, and I will even say it in Isizulu. I love the way he loves me, I am obsessed with how he loves me... I think I am ugly in the morning and he will come and be like, you are the most beautiful creature I have ever seen," she gushed.
