Their relationship has been marred by trolls who questioned their love and often drag Lamiez. Lamiez always gets trolled on social media but Khuli steps in to help her.

Just a few months ago, Lamiez was asked by trolls why won't she give Khuli a child instead of Deejaying week in, week out. Answering a question about in laws and how society dictates to women on what they should and should not wear, Lamiez got attacked by a troll who asked her why does she not give Khuli a child.

"Society constantly measures a woman’s worth by the above and it’s exhausting coz 1. Not all woman want to have kids or get married and  2. THAT’S OKAY!!!" Lamiez said.

"That's not OK you can't have everything you want in life and fail to give Khuli a child, issa no no. Don't you want a child or Khuli doesn't want a child or is it because you guys can't make a child?" said the troll to Lamiez, who hit back.

But now in celebration of their third wedding anniversary, Khuli told S Mag that he cannot wait to give Lamiez a baby. “I love that she treats me like him her doll, always dressing me up. I also love how we both enjoy listening to music but more importantly how at ease I am with her. I really can’t wait to give her a baby and extend our family,” Chana said.

Lamiez on the other hand, reminisced about the time they got engaged and how the proposal never happened due to Khuli losing his ring. “He was supposed to propose at the beachfront but he lost my ring. I could see he was very nervous but he kept on insisting that we take a walk to the beach. He had champagne, the works.

"He looked super stressed but I got frustrated because it started raining and I didn’t understand why we were there because he wasn’t saying anything. Little did I know that he was looking for the ring he hid and misplaced," Lamiez narrated.

She then mentioned that they had to go back to their room because of the rain. She said as she was lying in bed, she saw him go down on one knee and started crying.

Lamiez was deemed a South African Heroine when she took home an award at the South African Heroine Awards.

Accepting her award, Lamiez said "Thank you so much @heroinesawards for deeming me worthy of such a prestigious award. Thank you for reminding me why I do what I do. That I am not crazy for working and striving for greatness- not only for myself but for those who look up to and depend on me."
