This time around it was Liesl’s turn to call Musa out on social media. She took to her stories to call out the SABC 1 presenter for not keeping their swimming pool clean. To his defence, Musa told Liesl that it’s the rain and the August dust. Do you believe him or do you think he was just too lazy or occupied to do it?The couple announced their engagement a few months back, and it was followed by their lobola negotiations and more recently their marriage. To our surprise, Musa and Liesl had been dating for a year if not more, before they made their relationship public. This has to be one of the best-kept secrets for the year.
Sharing a snap of the two of their recent honeymoon in Cape Town, Mr Mthombeni said that the picture makes him feel like his wife is trying to hide him. In the image, he appears darker than usual.
“This picture makes me feel like my wife is still hiding me. Like I’m her dirty dark little secret. Like she wants people to know she’s in a relationship with someone but she doesn’t want to reveal the identity of that person,” he says.
Musa further adds that it makes him feel like a player that still needs to be unlocked in a PlayStation game. “It looks like I’m a player you still need to unlock in a PlayStation game. It looks like something terrible has happened to me and people want to hide my identity because my family hasn’t been informed yet.” He said in part.
At the beginning of August, Musa opened up about their Covid-19 experience. On the day he had to return to work following his recovery, the former Yo. Tv presenter said that it was one of the saddest days of his life having to leave his sick wife behind.
“Today was one of the saddest days ever. I had to leave my sick baby at home because I have to get back to work because I’m feeling better. God bless everyone who is at home fighting COVID. Nothing but well wishes and good health to you and yours! We will fight and beat COVID, one day at a time!” He shared.
Speaking about her experience, Liesl expressed how grateful she felt to be cared for in the hands of her hubby. “What a crazy, HECTIC experience but as you can understand I am well taken care of,” she adds. “Today is a good day and with each day of this rollercoaster ride that passes I feel more and more like myself.”
She thanked everyone who showed them support during their battle with the virus. “We are on the mend and would like to thank all our friends and family for the prayers. We are slowly but surely healing day by day.”
