Doctor bae Musa Mthombeni is back at work after testing positive to the coronavirus just a week ago.

He took to Instagram to announce to good news and express his sadness at leaving his wife Liesl Laurie Mthombeni who is not yet cleared.

He said, "Today was one of the saddest days ever. I had to leave my sick baby at home because I have to get back to work because I’m feeling better. God bless everyone is at home who is fighting COVID. Nothing but well wishes and good health to you and yours! We will fight and beat COVID, one day at a time!"

This did not seat well with a number of people. Some were worried that Musa will be infecting a number of people seeing that he is also still in contact with his wife whom they assume is not yet clear of Covid.

Fellow instagrammer @s.nqoma_ came to Musa's defence and said, "@owami_owami_ I think he is clear dear or he wouldn't go back and also I dont think his symptoms were as bad as he had vaccinated, and it takes some time to fully recover after covid for some people"

@kg_antony said, "Askies bhuti.. but we will beat this eventually❤️"

@8511tt said, "Let's thank God 🙏 you are feeling better and hopefully we'll eventually win"

Liesl revealed on her Instagram stories that she slept the whole day yesterday because Covid is a messy roller-coaster. 

 


On Friday Liesl took Instagram to express how her Doctor bae has managed to steer clear of Covid-19 but still got it.

Liesl said, "For about 18 months my Medical Doctor has managed to steer clear of the dreaded Covid-19 virus but a couple of days ago he (read we) tested positive

"What a crazy, HECTIC experience but as you can understand I am well taken care of ❤️🥺Today is a good day and with each day of this rollercoaster ride that passes I feel more and more like myself.

"We are on the mend and would like to thank all our friends and family for the prayers. We are slowly but surely healing day by day. Keep safe out there ❤️.

Musa took to the comments section to gush over his bae. He said, "My beautiful and strong covid partner. I love you always. You’re the best person I’ve ever met. I love you"

This has left a lot of people wishing they had a love like these two have. They are totally sbwling. These were some of the reactions:
