It is no secret that Somizi has peaked in his career and as a ZAleb in general. He made it to the top! But in a recent Instagram video, the actor spoke about how hard and lonely it is at the top.
He had just left the gym and wanted to do many different activities, but he had nobody to do them with because all his friends were busy with 9 to 5 jobs.

Fans were immediately struck by the irony in his complaints. I mean, everybody is working hard to get to where he is, at the top, and he who is up there is unhappy.
It leaves us to wonder what friends these are that have 9 to 5 jobs. Somizi has mostly famous friends, most of whom he has known and loved for ages.
There's Shauwn Mkhize - who he just wrote a sweet heartfelt tribute to, Kelly Khumalo - who proved her loyalty in the most heartwarming way, and Vusi Nova - with whom he takes multiple trips and professes his love for regularly. But as far as we know, none of them has a 9 to 5 job, unless maybe job descriptions changed?
It's also pretty ironic that Somizi would complain about being lonely only shortly after he announced his new job -- to help people find love. As far as we know, Somizi is currently single, and if he had a partner, perhaps he would have someone to do the activities with, and his friends' jobs wouldn't be a problem. I guess this is the classic case of a doctor who can't take his own medication, if he can't use his own upcoming show to find himself love.

However you look at it, these are first world problems, which is why his fans have been shooting their shots at him in his comments. I mean, can you imagine being friends with Somizi and having him call you up randomly in the middle of the day to go horse riding, and you actually go because you're unemployed?
