The sudden passing of the award-winning rapper Riky Rick has left many fans and celebrities in disbelief, and many have taken to social media platforms to pay tribute to the later superstar.

Award-winning rapper AKA penned a lengthy message on Instagram talking about suicide. He revealed that he knows at least 5 people who have committed suicide, and he said 4 of them are men.

"I’ve seen so much suicide over the last year I can’t even feel anything anymore," he wrote.

Speaking about Riky's passing, AKA said he hopes that people can address the issue of how damaged and broken South African men are.

He added, "I’ve spoken to a lot of people, some of them said, “He just got a bag from African Bank blah blah, etc … "that tells you everything you need to know about this f*cked up, fake-ass algorithm world we have created for ourselves to live in. Riky went to Hilton, he grew up around money."

said that men are traumatised and they have no one to talk to. He added that women need to understand that men are not perfect, and they need approval, love, and affection as well.

Wrapping up his message, The Supamega urged people to love and take care of each other.

"Please, can we RESET and go back to FAMILY VALUES?!. Can we (myself included) start going to Church Again? Please, can we start some sort of dialogue about MEN in this country because it’s our duty to protect you, to provide and care for you? We cannot make this thing work without each other. We are crying out for your help. This is so traumatic," he concluded.

Meanwhile, tributes are continuing to pour in for Riky Rick. He reportedly committed suicide yesterday, 23 February, and was found by his management at his house still alive, but he died on the way to the hospital.

The family of the 34-year-old rapper has since released a statement and asked for privacy during this difficult time.

"He was deeply loved by his family, friend, and the entire entertainment industry. His love for family, friends, and community is well known. Riky's nurturing and developing of young musical talent is well documented and will forever be remembered," the family said in a statement.

Riky Rick is leaves behind his wife, two children, five siblings, and his mother. The family has shared that the funeral and memorial details will be announced at a later stage.
