Gomora actress Ama Qamata who played the role of a teenager Buhle Ndaba, has bid farewell to the award-winning Mzansi Magic show.

The actress had been with the show for two years, but sadly her journey has come to an end. Her character got killed after she got a lift from a stranger and she met her demise.
Buhle saw it as her chance to escape but unfortunately, she was shot on her back and fell to her death. Leaving Thati, who lost another child in Langa broken and inconsolable. The episode was triggering for many South Africans as it highlighted the crime and brutality citizens face each day.
Taking to her Instagram account, Qamata posted a video of her on set on her last day. In the video, she can be seen getting emotional whilst the cast and crew bid farewell to her. She accompanied the video with a length-touching caption.
"Can’t even find the right words to type out right now….I’ll keep it simple, thank you Gomora❤️ it’s been an absolute pleasure and privilege to be on the show. It was an opportunity of a lifetime and I’m so blessed to have shared it with you guys.
She expressed her gratitude to the cast, crew and South Africans:

I’m forever humbled and grateful."

Ama Qamata gained popularity for her role on the Netflix original Blood and Water, for which she was nominated for 'Revelation Actress Of The Year’ at the Series Brazil Awards.
Blood & Water, which is in production for it’s third season was shot in Cape Town and it boasts a star-studded cast that includes the likes of Khosi Ngema, Gail Mabalane, Thabang Molaba, and Cindy Mahlangu.
The show is coming back for its fourth season. In a comment, Dorothy Ghettuba who leads African Original Series at Netflix, promised viewers the best season yet, "We are so excited to announce we’ve renewed Blood & Water for a third season! Production has already commenced in Cape Town.
