Candice Modiselle, Anga Makubalo And More To Star In Netflix's Third African Series 'Jiva'

After announcing a new season of the hit 6-part series, Queen Sono, Netflix revealed more African original series coming soon.

They announced an upcoming teen series 'Blood And Water' which will star Natasha Thahane and more. They also recently announced that viewers should expect another star-studded series called Jiva!

What is more intriguing is that everyone from cast to crew, script to screen, will consist of everything African.

The series is centered at a young dancer Ntombi who juggles life's difficulties and seeks freedom through dance.

The star-studded energy-filled series will star Isibaya's Noxolo Dlamini who will play lead. Famous faces also include Candice Modiselle, Anga Makubalo, Given Stuurman, Zamani Mbatha and Tony Kgoroge.

It is directed by Mmabatho Montsho, Scottnes L. Smith, Mandla Dube and created by Busisiwe Ntintili. It is choreographed by Bontle Modiselle and Tom London.

It will premiere late 2020 as announced by Netflix South Africa.
