The rapper and her mum managed to raise these funds through the Sanlam Money Moola show. Taking to Instagram, she said, "An incredible day well spent at the Vhathu Vhothe Abuse Centre. Through the Sanlam Money Moola show, My mom and I managed to raise R50 000 for the Centre. What an honour it was to see the phenomenal work that the Centre does for GBV victims and for the community in general. These are the moments that ground us and remind us about the bigger picture!"
Gender based violence is another pandemic which women and children face on a regular in the country. Boity has been very vocal about such issues on her social media and is not afraid to call out prominent celebrities who have been accused of such a hateful crime.
Sis did not mince her words when she slammed Euphonik for playing with Ms. Madikizela's feelings, after accusing them of rape.
"You’re being a vile asshole. This is not a joke!!! You’re being accused of the most violent crime and you’re turning it into a shits and giggles circus! Either confess or let your lawyers handle this. But what you’re doing here on Twitter is disgusting!"
Boity is on a winning streak! The rapper recently launched her very own alcoholic range called BT signature, but has received some mixed reactions from the people. This is due to her prices being deemed "unreasonable."
Nonetheless, she stays enjoying her flowers as she is now a major shareholder of the company making her the first 'black South African woman to create and own an RTD beverage'.
Boasting about this major achievement, she said, "As major shareholder and Director of BTMK Beverages, I am so proud and grateful to have successfully created and launched BT Signature, my own Ready-to-drink beverage! Not only am I the first black South African woman to create and own an RTD beverage, but also the first celebrity to create a non-alcoholic variant to allow everyone to make their mark and enjoy a BTSignature! I guess what I’m trying to say is, I am my ancestors’ wildest dream!"
Congrats Boity!
