Earlier in the year, Samuels revealed that she was tired of men invading her space. She revealed that a gent had walked up to her and sat next to her without her permission.

“Men, why do some of you feel the need to walk up to ladies you don’t know pull up a chair and seat yourself? What manners are these? I hate that thing! It’s so arrogant to assume that your interruption is welcome. Nigazosidina maan!” She tweeted.

One of her followers responded to her tweet and said that most women claim to hate this type of behaviour from men until it’s from someone famous or influential.

Annoyed by this, Buhle responded and said that any man who invades her private space will be put in their place. She added that most men are punching above their weight.

“Oh hell no, he will be put in his place! Not everything is about entertaining your desire as a man. I might be in a meeting/convo that has no time for your lovesick puppy antics! That’s why some of you are punching above your weight, u can’t see a lady if she had a neon sign.” She said.

Chatting to TshisaLIVE in 2020, the star opened up about being bullied at school because she mostly spoke English. Some of her peers thought that she was African American.

"How it started was that people thought I was a black American because I spoke English, but I wasn’t. I just didn’t know how to speak Zulu because of the school I attended. I struggled with vernacular,” she explained.

After she got to high school, she started to stand up for herself. The mean comments didn’t affect her as much as they did before.

"Those were the hardest days of my schooling life. I decided to stand up for myself the next time they tried, which was in high school. I was very strong and wouldn't allow any bullying near me. One day during my first year at high school I stood firm and told the tormentors where to get off. Ever since that day I never allowed such behaviour.” She said.

Buhle has been commended for her fashion sense and as a result, she is one of the most popular stars on the gram. She often collaborates with various fashion and beauty brands.
