DJ Zinhle is the epitome of an all-round businesswoman. In recent years she has diversified her portfolio so much that it is safe to believe that she is truly a multi-millionaire. A feat she managed to do through her consistency and finally finding her voice in business.

DJ Zinhle celebrates 10 years of Era 

One Friday, 26 August 2022, DJ Zinhle invited some of the leading female personalities in South Africa to what she deemed The Era Women In Business Luncheon. MC’ed by Rorisang Thandekiso, the luncheon had the likes of Dineo Ranaka, Lerato Sengadi, Celeste Ntuli and of course Era’s creative director Moozlie. The luncheon was in celebration of DJ Zinhle’s first solely owned company Era by DJ Zinhle. 
Founded in August 2012, the business was the first independent venture that the then leading female DJ had founded. Before that DJ Zinhle was in a partnership with the now non-existent DJ school, which fell into disrepute before it became the distant memory it has since become. 

Now DJ Zinhle is the proud owner of a business that has broken the seven-year curse in business suggesting that her business is one that is set to last long. In light of the celebrations, the DJ took to Instagram to share a reel celebrating the land milestone.

Besides the founding idea of Era, which was a creation and selling of statement watches and time pieces. Era in the decade that it has been in existence the founding idea has expanded. Now Era features some of the signature accessories in terms of bracelets, Era earrings and a subsidar dedicated to her daughter Kairo. 
Moreover, her business portfolio has expanded too. First it was the news of DJ Zinhle acquiring the controlling share for the sparking wine business Boulevard Rose. An acquisition that has since made the sparking wine brand one of the most recognisable and profitable alcohol brands in South Africa. 
Following the success of Era and Boulevard, DJ Zinhle then introduced Hair Majesty by DJ Zinhle. A pervunian wig business. For the most part, the business was touted. But it recently fell into disrepute when it was alleged that the business only reserves its qualit wigs for celebrities and influencers. But DJ Zinhle showcased her business prowess when not only acknowledged her mistakes with the business, but also sent the complaint a better wig. 

Moreover, Era has now over six physical stores. Moreover, Hair Majesty is set to get its own physical stores. 
DJ Zinhle the reality star

In 2021, DJ Zinhle came with her reality show The Unexpected. A reality show which the first season received unfavouravble reviews as it revolved around her revealing her pregnancy. But the second season has gotten many fans excited as it actually showcased DJ Zinhle as a businesswoman, mother of now two and new wife to Black Motion’s Murdah Bongz. The most recent episode had many fans touting DJ Zinhle as an exemplary mom as she was able to fly her eldest daughter Kairo to L.A to shoot the new ad compaign for her new jewellery range.
