It is safe to regard Nqobile Gumede as the strongest and memorable come-back kid in the history of Idols.

The year 2019 saw the return of Nqobile Gumede on Idols season 15. Unathi Nkayi was the first judge to recognise her from the 2016 auditions and feared if she is stronger this time around as she had shocked the judges and viewers when she fainted just before her audition that year.

However, Nqobile seamlessly belted out Rihanna's hit single, 'Love On The Brain' and she instantly won the judges and viewers hearts.

After making the cut in the #Top17, another judge Randall Abrahams murmured to his fellow judges that, he gets the sense that Nqobile won't develop an ego as she grows in the competition.

But last night, the axe fell on Nqobile as she was the latest contestant to be eliminated from Idols.
