Kamo has been taking over the Mzansi music scene with her incredible dace moves and catchy vocals. Her latest single Nkulunkulu has been topping the charts and it's heart warming to see enjoying her shine.
In an interview with Mac G recently, Kamo said she wants to take advantage of her fame because it doesn't last forever. "The fame doesn't last that long so you have to make the most of it while you still have time. That's what people don't understand. It's not a lifetime thing unless you are legendary." She adds.
"Cassper is still the biggest artist but he still has to convince people that he is the best. I don't want to go through that personally. There's only so much you can do in your own country. Fill Up was the biggest so what's next? It's easy to get to the top but it's hard to stay there.
Kamo recently bagged the ‘artist of the year’ award at the Amapiano Awards that took place in October. Taking to her Twitter account to celebrate this achievement she tweeted, “Artist of the year man , it’s truly God and hard work let the real journey begin truly grateful,” she wrote.
