The couple tied the knot in March in a private wedding ceremony. Taking to his social media account today, he gave his fans a sneak peek inside his white wedding. Karabo shared beautiful snaps of her big day and it was pure bliss.
A few months ago, Karabo shared a picture showing him on one knee where he popped the question to a teary Sine. Speaking to TshisaLIVE said he started with the lobola negotiations then proposed to Sine.
" There was the first of lobola, which happened last year in December. This recent event was actually the second round and final stage of paying lobola for her. Then I asked her family if I could propose with a ring after I have done right by the family. I could have proposed in private when it was just the two of us but doing it there in front of both our families made it even more meaningful, I think.
“It was a perfect moment to do it because our families and friends and everyone we care about were there. She didn't know I was going to propose with a ring so, it was a special moment,” Karabo said.
Another couple that recently tied the know is Liesl Laurie and Dr Musa Mthombeni. The two surprised their fans with pictures of their special day.
The newlyweds recently contracted Covid-19 and had to isolate for some time. Musa recovered before his wife and on the day he had to head back to work – it saddened him that he had to leave his sick wife behind.
“Today was one of the saddest days ever. I had to leave my sick baby at home because I have to get back to work because I’m feeling better.
God bless everyone who is at home fighting COVID. Nothing but well wishes and good health to you and yours! We will fight and beat COVID, one day at a time!” Detailing her experience, Liesl described it as HECTIC. She was glad she was well taken care of by her Doctor husband Musa. She also thanked their family and friends for their support.
“For about 18 months my Medical Doctor has managed to steer clear of the dreaded Covid-19 virus but a couple of days ago he (read we) tested positive. What a crazy, HECTIC experience but as you can understand I am well taken care of,” she shared.
“Today is a good day and with each day of this rollercoaster ride that passes, I feel more and more like myself. We are on the mend and would like to thank all our friends and family for the prayers. We are slowly but surely healing day by day. Keep safe out there,” she wrote.
