That's exactly what hip hop and 5FM DJ Ms Cosmo did to usher in her birthday on Thursday and to take a bit of time off from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg.
Some of our favourite pictures from the trip were when she shared how excited she was to be on the Brooklyn Bridge.
If you're a Hip Hop fan and love rappers from New York, you would understand why Cosmo was so excited to be on this world renowned monument.
The bridge is one of the oldest bridges to be built in the United States and was completed in 1883.

After she went to New York, Ms Cosmo decided to make her second stop in Miami, the city that hardly experiences winter.
We've never taken notice of Ms Cosmo's bikini body, but by the looks of these pictures, the lady is serving us a whole lot of sexiness.

And to make things even more special for her birthday, Ms Cosmo took herself to Big Sean's I Decided tour and even got the chance to meet the rapper.
