Nadia Naked, the beautiful and talented rapper, made her first television appearance on the eTV hip hop show Shiz Niz where she went on to be the first female to win the Mixtape 101 competition. In September 2013, she rose to fame when she released her debut single Like Me. The following year, Riky Rick featured her on his Amantobazana remix, then in June 2015, Nakai released her third single Saka Wena featuring rapper Nigerian Ice Prince, soon after releasing her second single, Whatever featuring DotCom and Psyfo.

On August 2016, Nakai pre-released her single The Man featuring Cassper Nyovest from her then-upcoming EP, Bragga, which was then released on September 2016. The following year, in November 2017, Nakai released her critically acclaimed single Naaa Meaan featuring Cassper Nyovest which went on to top charts in several Mzansi radio stations.
Her debut album, Nadia Naked, was released in June 2019 and earned her recognition as one of the best female MC's in the country. More than a year later, she teased the release of her much-anticipated second album, Nadia Naked II.
Close to midnight, the female rapper announced on her Twitter account that it was about to drop, while fellow musician and Family Tree record label owner, Cassper Nyovest announced on his account that his artist would be dropping soon.
Well, as promised, Nadia Naked II finally dropped and immediately trended at number 1 in the early hours of the morning. The album is certified banger and could be her best work so far, she features some of the best rappers in Mzansi. The likes of Kwesta, Kuli Chana, Lady Zamar, Tshego and Vic Mensa an American rapper, singer and record producer from Chicago. He is currently signed under Jay Z's Roc Nation.
All around, fans are already loving her album and calling her the best female rapper in Africa. She has received nothing but good reviews so far and it doesn't look like any bad reviews will be heard. This makes it her second successful album in her music career, with countless different fans having their own favourite tracks.
It is no doubt that Nadia Nakai is one of the best, if not the best female rapper in the country and arguably the African continent. She has remained consistent, hard-working and she keeps raising the bar for other female rappers. It seems working with and being signed under Cassper Nyovest is paying off, not to mention how much of a hype man Mufasa is for her.
