In this third season of the show, Mzansi follows Pearl as she goes back to her hometown Tembisa, where she helps young people to mend their family relationships. It’s a real honest to goodness ‘going back home’ story and South Africa is set to be behind her every step of the way!
As the third season made it's debut last night, Pearl met with young adults from the community who shared their personal stories and how they would like her to change their lives.
Pearl said to her a family is very important and that is why she has decided to step into the big shoes of becoming a beacon of hope to the young adults of the area. The multi-talented TV star is known for being down to earth and always lending a helping hand to help change lives.
She further cautioned the youth of the area to not drop out of school and explained the importance of education and never allowing your circumstances to determine your path in life.
Pearl had previously hosted Zaziwa on the channel. Speaking to ZAlebs the SABC Spokesperson Mmoni Seapolelo dropped a bombshell by confirming that the show was canned, "A decision was taken not to recommission the show for another season, the channel is, however, exploring other content ideas and formats in the slot, allowing room to curate a diverse offering to viewers,” she said.
Following the shocking news, Pearl Modiadie also raised her eyebrows and explained that she was not informed that the show has been given the chop. The TV star said she only found out on socila media.
The name Pearl Modiadie has become synonymous with the whole idea of the clean-cut girl making a great success of her life. She has given up her home and family from Tembisa and moved into a tastefully decorated villa in Fourways to be close to radio and TV studios. Since being nominated as the Best Presenter and hosted shows like The Metro Music Awards and Raw Silk, Pearl struggles to find time to spend with family in her hometown. The beauty recently welcomed her bundle of joy into the world and thanked her fans for the outpouring love.
