Real Housewives Of Durban fans are divided over Kgomotso Ndungane's appearance set for the next episode that will air Friday next week on Showmax.
While others are happy and looking forward to Kgomotso's return, others are hoping that it will only be a once-off visit.
@Tshidimolema tweeted, "I really hope Kgomotso is just here to pay Sorisha a visit I’m really not ready to hear about her iconic husband 😆#RHODurban"
@Queen01A: "All those who are complaining about Kgomotso's appearance next week can go jump to the nearest cliff...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣#RHODurban."
Last year Kgomotso announced that she had decided to quit RHOD. She said she never planned to be part of the show forever.
Speaking to TrueLove Magazine, the businesswoman said, “The season has come to an end and everyone is leaving to continue with other commitments. It was great to be part of the show, meeting all the ladies and the production team as a whole. It’s been a great experience. The plan for me was always to do one season and move on to something else,” she told the publication.
Kgomotso did not even make it to the show's reunion and that left many fans disappointed.
The reality TV star also revealed that Twitter Trolls influenced her decision to exit the show. She said she had never heard of Black Twitter until she joined the show.
“I wasn't aware of black Twitter, I knew Twitter as a business platform ... so when I saw these things, I was in absolute shock and my family and friends tried to stop me from reading the stuff," she told TshisaLive.
She added that the hate got to the point where it was also affecting her business. She explained, "The very same reason that I went on to the show to promote my business it actually did the opposite... when people couldn't get to me — because I locked all my social media accounts when the hate was so huge ... they went to my business pages and... I then had to go and put restriction measures.”
Meanwhile, another RHOD cast member Ayanda Ncwane also called it quits last year. She said she felt that the show was damaging her late husband Sfiso Ncwane's legacy. Ayanda also shared that the show was belittling her hard work. She added that she worked hard to build her brand.
"I have built my brand and my brand is so big and high for me to be just associated with the show. I recently saw a headline that only associated me with the Real Housewives of Durban, and I got annoyed because I have worked so hard building a brand of being a music executive.
"So for me to be associated with something so small whereas I have worked so hard did not sit well with me, and I decided that the show is not for me as I don’t want to be reduced to just being a housewife, while I have worked so hard for everything that I have,” she told Daily Sun.
