Pasella has introduced remarkable TV hosts such as Vicky Davis, Minki Van Der Westhuizen, Amalia Uys, Derrich Gardner, Shemane Harris, Jo-Ann Strauss, Misha Patel, and Christi Panagio just to mention a few.
Phil Mphela’s #EntertainmentAlert also shared that viewers will bid a farewell to some cast member of Durban Gen as  the popular medical drama is axing several actors. Earlier this year, Phil reported that Durban Gen’s viewership figures have declined. He said the show lost 300K viewers.

He tweeted: “Durban Gen lost 300K viewers. The medical drama series peaked at 2 Million viewers in November but sadly dropped to 1,75-million for their most-watched episode in December 2020.”

The show premiered last year October. In a statement then, Stained Glass Managing Director Pepsi Pokane said: "It is an honor to be warmly welcomed into the eFamily. The entire team, production, cast, and crew are incredibly excited to be working on the first-ever medical drama that will be set in KwaZulu-Natal. Durban Gen is a big win for Stained Glass T.V., for the KZN Province, and for the City of eThekwini. We believe that audiences will connect with the show's riveting storylines, exciting characters, and an incredible cast.”
