This show celebrates everything that Nelson “Madiba” Mandela stood for as the name of the show “Madiba Do Up” suggests. Madiba Do Up also premieres on the very same month that Madiba was born just in time to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day. Luckily for viewers, good deeds will be seen throughout the month and hopefully, this will motivate people to do the same for their communities.
The show premieres tonight on Mzansi Magic, channel 161 at 21:30.
Thembisa was making news headlines last week after it started circulating that she may be expecting. A picture of her in a figure-hugging traditional dress on a show she is currently hosting on Mzansi Magic, Old Mutual’s Amazing Voices started making rounds and then she fuelled the rumours, even more when she captioned a picture on her Instagram that read “Whatever you are thinking, it is true”
While people were digesting what Mdoda-Nxumalo is expecting, she revealed In December last year that she actually has given birth.
She said this on Instagram, “A few months postpartum. Trying to get back into the rhythm of working out regularly❤️. Face still has scarring from acne, and the worst reaction to bad make-up. 38 and living," she wrote.
Thembisa explained that she feels, Nxumalo (the father of her baby) and her met at the exact right time. Everything happened the way it was supposed to.
“..You know when everything was just coming together. That is very scary because I was like: 'I'm focusing on my career and my kids' and then it just happened. You know when it just hits you and you are like: 'oh cr*p'. But he's an incredible and amazing human being and he boyfriends really well," she said about the man that would soon be her husband.

Thembisa has 9-year-old twin boys with a man that is only named “Andile Nodada”. You will remember that drama ensued 5 when Atandwa Kani revealed that he was not the father of Mdoda’s twin boys as it was originally reported. Atandwa revealed that Thembisa was having an affair with the father of the boys. When rumours persisted that she was still seeing the man and had aborted his baby, Atandwa decided to leave the relationship.
Speaking on the paternity, Atandwa said, “After months of deliberation and a seemingly unending stalemate, in November 2015, she eventually agreed to take the paternity test. I collected the blood test results from Lancet Laboratories four weeks later in December 2015 and the results revealed conclusively that:
“Probability of Paternity: 0.000%”
Both parties have since moved on. Thembisa is now married and Atandwa as well.
