Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi won the hearts of many people when she was crowned Miss South Africa in 2014. Later during that year she clinched the coveted Miss Universe title.

The model has since cut her teeth into numerous Arts avenues as she dabbles between modeling, MC, and she is set to make her acting debut in the highly anticipated The Woman King movie.

The film stars our very own international superstar Thuso Mbedu and actress Viola Davis. Taking to her Instagram account to share the exciting news she wrote “ I am so honored and excited to announce that I have been cast for the film, The Woman King ( @womankingmovie ) . It is a completely new world and a first time experience for me so I enter it with the utmost respect and humility. Forever grateful and looking forward ❤ #TheWomanKing.”

Zozibini is currently trending on social media after her doppelganger has been mistaken for her.

It comes after a cover of Vogue Netherlands magazine featuring a woman with a striking resemblance to her. The issue features a black woman kissing a white woman on the cover in honor of Pride Month.

The cover has caused quite a buzz on Twitter as Tweeps think the model has come out. The wedding issue features lovebirds Nella Ngingo and Arantxa Oosterwolde.

Mzansi has reacted to the cover with many assuming it was Zoziboni.

The model is no stranger to showing love to the LGBTQI community. In 2021 she showed love to Angela Pance, the first ever transgender woman to participate in the pageant. In a lengthy on her Instagram account she wrote”

"I just recently learned that violence against trans people has surged 266 percent from last year. They deserve to live a life as humane, happy, and free as any other person. Stop with the violence! I’m gonna say this in case it has not been clear. Trans rights are human rights," wrote Zozibini.

Zozibini turned off comments on her post and made it clear to homophobes that they were not welcome to spew homophobia on her timeline.

"I intentionally turned the comments off on this post because I could already see the transphobic comments coming in and we don’t do that here on my page. I won’t give you the space to be hateful. We operate on love here. Have a good day."

The model has been making boss moves lately and we love to see it. She announced that she is the new face of Lux. Zozi took to Instagram to open up about her experience with LUX as a young girl. She said, "I remember being a young girl seeing beautiful, confident, superstar women on TV, Magazines and billboards of LUX. To me they looked like superheroes and I would pretend to be them everytime my mom bought a bar of LUX soap for herself.

I never really got to master how they lathered it so perfectly on their skin though, but I think I more than made up for it on this gorgeous ad LOL! To young Zozi, this one is for you, you big dreamer. You became the girl on the Billboards. I am forever grateful for this life and don't take anything for granted. To my new family
@lux_southafrica , Thank you and I can't wait to walk the rest of this beautiful journey with you"
