"You see this thing of crying about your baby daddy who left you, don't do that with me. I got married then I had a child so don't compare yourselves with me. Do not compare your baby daddies with me. This has nothing to do with me.
"Your baby daddy made you pregnant then left you with the baby, I wonder why you gave birth at a very young age. So I don't want nothing to do with that," said Mampintsha’s wife while dancing to Hip Hop music.
Since the clip went viral, we’ve seen social media start a challenge inspired by the video live video. Somizi Mhlongo was one of the celebrities who made fun out of the situation. He took to social media to share his impersonation of the viral challenge. Skeem Saam actor, Clement Maosa did the same thing, he uploaded his version of the incident on tik tok and so did many other influencers.
Babes and her boyfriend of almost ten years, Mampintsha tied the knot earlier this year. Their wedding was documented on Showmax through their reality show Uthando Lodumo. Chatting to Mac G earlier on in the year, Babes revealed that she met her husband when she was still at video vixen. “I met Mampintsha when I was still a video vixen. I was 16/17 years old. He’d always call me to check up on me and I ended up catching feelings. We will be surprising you guys soon - our wedding special will be on Showmax.” She shared in part.
The two might be living happily ever after right now but not everyone approved of their marriage. Babes’ friends were worried that her getting married would negatively affect their friendship. “Do you know what trouble is Babes getting herself into? She is going to be stuck at home all the time. We won’t be able to get free alcohol and expensive champagne. Ever since you’ve known Babes all you drink is expensive champagne. What about all the expensive sneakers that I used to get?”
The dancer affirmed to her squad that they should not worry as her marriage will not have any effect on their friendship.
